The Changes for Behavioural Consultations

As some of our clients already know, and our followers may have seen - I am proud to be offering Behavioural Consultations through North West Veterinary Centre and as part of our commitment to growth, innovation and providing a unique and high-quality service, I am excited to officially share our first change to our services.

We have now fully transitioned from the standard Behavioural Consultation at our school to work alongside a dedicated team of veterinary professionals to offer you a unique training opportunity!

Behavioural concerns have many avenues and aspects beyond just training. Being able to now work directly alongside veterinarians allows us to provide you with more in depth consultations that looks into those other aspects. Things like pain, discomfort, underlying medical conditions and nutrition are just some additional factors to consider when it comes to looking at a behavioural concern!

Having access to additional services and the capacity to have further diagnostic work done at the same time is an asset to providing that high quality service we strive for and have seen already great outcomes! Another added value is the ability to consult with the veterinary team around possible needs and suitability for medications too!

We are still offering the option for private Behavioural Consultation at A Bark Above, especially for those weekends sessions. We will discuss the benefits and options at our initial conversation to determine where the best option fits, so you are set up for success.

Providing a one place stop for any behavioural concerns, while utilising the veterinary team has already been a huge success and I’m very excited to continue this, along with my additional study. We are proud to share that service will become, one of a kind for our North West Coast!

If you have any questions, as always we’re just a message away! Or call the fabulous team at the clinic on
